YOUR LEARNING GOAL

Write an 8–10-sentence script and include at least two visual cues. No filming is required.

The ideas to keep

  • Choose one familiar topic, such as a study routine, a tidy desk or preparing a school bag.
  • Introduce yourself and say what you will share.
  • Explain three tips in a clear order. Use present-tense verbs for routines.
  • Put visual cues in brackets, such as [Show the materials]. They guide what viewers see.
  • Finish with a reminder, a question for viewers or a thank-you.

A MODEL TO LEARN FROM

[Face the camera.] Hi, everyone! Today, I’ll share three tips for keeping a tidy desk. First, put your books in one place. This helps because you can find them easily. [Show a pen holder.] Next, keep your pens in a holder. For example, reuse a clean container. Finally, clear your desk before you leave. Remember to check your work area each day. Which tip would you try? Thank you for watching!
